DATA EXTRACTION AND GEOREFERENCING
Geodata Creation from CAD
As part of an emergency study for client in need of immediate data, Pateligence created Python scripts to extract specific lines of fiber and coax along with key point data out of CAD drawings and georeferenced them into individual GIS layers. The end result allowed Pateligence to spatially analyze network data on a large scale and quantify potential growth opportunities. This helped avoid a time-consuming, manual, error-prone review hundreds of individual CAD drawings.
Uncover Market Localities
Following an acquisition, Pateligence helped a service provider understand not only the coverage, density, and value of the numerous assets acquired, but also enriched their data with neighborhood profile information. This type of information helped them better understand the true nature of asset location value with respect to the expectations of local customers rather than just a quantitive study alone.

For a national wireless service provider with existing backhaul assets, Pateligence developed a patented build model that utilizes existing network maps, geocoded mobile usage data, business location densities, and several other GIS / cost inputs to predict new build locations in each market.

Pinpoint Actual Demand
To enhance existing data on wireless coverage opportunities, Pateligence patented a process (US Patent) for a customer that parsed crowd-sourced data collected by mobile apps to identify incremental "real" opportunities for coverage enhancement beyond those based on predictive methodologies.
On a quick-turnaround week-long project, Pateligence rapidly developed a functional design architecture and accompanying design requirements for a cloud-hosted IoT smart meter solution based on an Amazon Web Services' IoT platform. The solution recommended an initial data model, device wireless connectivity technology, and REST API basics to allow for a rapid review of deployment options with AWS.
Custom Design Support
To help a client deploy WiFi utilizing existing customer assets, Pateligence developed a unique network design combining in-building fiber / Ethernet assets with client managed service equipment to provide ubiquitous coverage.
Size the Market
As part of a device development initiative, Pateligence resources sized the mobile chipset market including identifying the individual ASICs integrated within each LTE device on the market at the time.
